@Roukuzaken that's pretty awesome, although I'm not really an ultralight person or a one seater person, and I'm definitely not a helicopter person. But hey, if that's your thing it looks pretty sick.

Yeah, actually. It comes out even cheaper if you have taken flight lessons . You can also buy it with out the outer covering which knocks it down as well. The only downside to this heli is that it is a one seater and the gas tank is small (you only get about 70 miles out of it).

@Roukuzaken Brand new? What is it, a kit?

It actually sells for about 25,000.

is it safe?
Atlantisfan119 (November 10th, 2009 @ 2:42 am)
Pretty much. I guess you could travel with it. Its more for fun though, hence the 1 seat. Kind of like an Extra 300s

Then it's just a really expensive toy, isn't it?
I mean I haven't heard of helicopter races either.
Atlantisfan119 (November 4th, 2009 @ 4:29 pm)
No, I don't think that's legal.
Atlantisfan119 (November 4th, 2009 @ 4:29 pm)
I doubt its anything under 50,000, if that. The Robinson R22 which is also a piston helcopter but 2 seat costs way over 100,000, so I doubt this thing comes cheap.

Could it really replace a car?
I mean could I use it to get to work and park on a the building's roof or something? It doesn't seem to be beyond recreational use.
