@BrockRailfan There would have been multiple strikes on the sensors that detect stuff dragging.
BrockRailfan (February 5th, 2012 @ 1:29 am)
So why did the Detector say Multiple Alarms? I don't get it.

@GEES44DC Ima try man. I've been on a run in Northern Ontario now that takes you through tunnels and a lot of rock cuts, along lakes and by cottages. The light has never been right this week to allow me to pull the camera out.

@GEES44DC Sorry, then I stand correct. Never mind, just keep sending us your Canadian footage, eh?

@GEES44DC Your excuses ain't good enough. This could have been the first YouTube video to show something dragging. ('Twas interesting hearing the detector announcement!) Too bad the crew is too lazy to get out and check. But maybe they were just being practical and if they stop the train they will close an intersection. Always show a grade crossing in case some moron gets hit. Also it's nice to see the signals operate, if enough warning time, etc. Nice steady video!
GEES44DC (July 21st, 2010 @ 5:13 pm)
@robertgift It wasn't a false alarm. The crew violated the inspection rules and kept pulling into the yard. As for the view. There are other factors such as sun, other buildings, obsticles etc ...
GEES44DC (July 21st, 2010 @ 5:10 pm)
@Gooberwalla I didn't even see it. It was right in the middle of the truck. I would of had to get right between the rails and down lol to show it.
Gooberwalla (July 21st, 2010 @ 3:47 am)
You could have done a better job of showing the dragging equipment. Had you done so, it would have been one-of-a-kind video.
robertgift (March 16th, 2010 @ 11:57 am)
Hearing the detector alarm, I would have picked up the tripod and moved camera closer to the track and tried to see/video the problem. Why such a lousy view? Why not show the train approaching? Headlight causes autofocus problem? Learn how to place camcorder in MANUAL focus. Apparently the engineer knows the detector has a false alarm problem.

True enough.
boeingLL747 (March 29th, 2009 @ 1:32 am)
the track side dectector sure did
icecardinal (February 27th, 2009 @ 8:49 pm)
Where was the dragging equipment? I am not sure I saw/heard it.
