LMAO Dave I have a story for you. I work on a farm/ ranch/ dump place with my dad. Recently a 15 year old kid who was having "problems" (been in juvi 3 times) was sent to live with my parents as a punishment. He is very much a city baby. and they're country people. The milatary also made a " multifuel engine" it is safe to run just about everthing thru the Continental, white or Hercules LDT-465. Altho when running gas you need to add about 1 quart of oil to every 5 gallons of gas to lube the injector pump.

That filter bulb is a sediment bulb to collect stuff in the gas tank like dirt,rust, and bees.From the looks of it, I'd say it came from a Ford 2N,8N, or 9N tractor .

You sould try and start it without the decompresion it probobly wouldnt work though, and you should show us a vid of driving it on gasoline power.
