I've got one of these blocks installed on my HD4870. I have to say i'm really dissapointed with it. I had to use thermal pads on the 5 voltage regulator chips to get them to make contact with the cooler. Core temperature also is none too impressive, lets just say my stock cooler with the fan speed cranked up performed better. I can't overclock with this block. Am going back to my Swiftech MCW-60. An amazing waterblock for GPU only.

you can´t cool just the GPU, be careful. And please blame the card manufacturer who did not do reference design.

I'll use the MCW60 with some heatsinks, and point a fan onto the hot components, not as good as a proper working full cover block i know but i get a more stable overclock this way than with the Aquagratix block. My card is a reference design, one of the first revision Sapphire cards, i'm not at all sure why i couldn't get the block to fit well. I may give it a 4th go at reseating it, otherwise i'm giving up.

strange .. because for reference only. with a fan everything is fine.

Normally i only do the watercooling vids, because i don´t have the Arctic Cooling cooling block. Tell Arctic Cooling they should send one. ;-)
