I grew up in northern MN and people from out of state used to think there were no timber wolves because they didn't see any. Come to find out there are thousands killing deer, moose, cattle, sheep, & (dogs right off peoples porches) and they finally got them off the endangered species list. :)

Got your Email. You are one uninformed invidual.I doubt you hunt anything, or even own a gun. The only thing left to say are rude comments and I refuse to stoop to that level,so lets leave it at we wont change each others minds.

Actually some guy started in on Canada before I started in on the states, You being a superpower comes through in your discussion with me, and your countries discussions with Canada, it is a large part of why the majority of the world resents and dislikes America.

Coyotes hunt for the easiest prey they can get, its a universal trait that all carnivores do. They are not doing it out of smite but to survive, whoever hunts this animal cannot relate with the coyotes actions because coyotes do not hunt for fun or to exterminate something. also whoever says anything about over poppulation, humans are the last to have their word on that.

I will answer your question. There is no animal I would not shoot. It should be legal to shoot eagles and hawks if your interested in protecting small game and game bird populations. If you want to bring a species back from the brink of extintion, put a season on it! NO ONE pours more money into conservation and habitat preservation than hunters! I dont expect you to understand this as you wont want to but facts are facts, research it,start with the duck and ducks unlimited.Want to go hunting?

Actually I hunt myself, partridge and rabbit, as well I am an avid fisherman. Your statement that hunters pour more into conservation than anyone is flawed, there were guys in my biology program who have dedicated most of their lives and money to lobbying against lumber companies. Hunters use the conservation trails, and their license dollars mostly goes to cleaning up their own beer cans, and maintaing 4x4 trails. And if you would shoot anything, then you are fucking digusting.

Endangered is the "parameters". Coyotes are not endangered. Niether are bobcats, fox etc. If it's ethical, fairchase and legal then I say hunt what you want. Why should you be able to decide for anyone els? As I said if it bothers you so much watch animal planet, attend the PETA meeting and talk shop w/Rosie O'Donnell.

So if gorrilllas were not endangered would you shoot a gorilla?
usmcwpd (Wednesday 27th of August 2008 11:07:39 AM)
No. But not because of a moral objection. Armadillos, chipmunks and bluejays are not endangered and I don't hunt them. What's your point?
