I'm a big Kanye fan but he did not "add a whole new aspect to it". Of course Daft Punk gave him permission, he paid them lol. They were even in the video =]. Please think a bit more before calling anyone an idiot.

bucketoffsuki, your just an idiot. The only thing he incorporated from Daft punk was the beat. Everything else was him. He could have taken the daft punk beat and made it terrible but he added a whole new aspect to it. Plus, he had to get permission to be able to use the song, so Daft Punk wasn't against him making a song that made #1. Do you even listen to what he is saying or even pay any attention at all besides the daft punk beat? Don't listen to rap if that's all you do.
