Don't know what you're talking about, but the relevant difference between an M4 and an M16 is the length of the barrel and the length of the gas system, allowing more time for high pressure gas to accelerate the bullet.

The 6.5mm Grendal is better...for Ammunition anyways, but for a rifle choose the FN SCAR-L in replacement of the M16. It's not just the rifle but then again it's not just the round.

ya im in the army and whats not good about the m16 is if u dont clean it it jams so everynigth my sarge tells me to clean my gun i cant sleep without cleaning it cant wait till we can use the m468

yeah, but it doesn't have stopping power, and it's a real light round, and that makes it susceptible to wind. m16's firing system is also prone to get dirt in it, which causes jamming. i personally like the g3 and the m14. i'm a big fan of the .308

m16 is "reliable" for hitting its target when kept in a right conditions :)
