Prometheus instructed his son Epimetheus to build a ship for him and his wife (Pandora) b/c Zeus would flood Earth due to his anger of mans ability to create fire. Sounds strangely similar don't you think? It is often wielded by the minority affluent to control the majority poor. Systematically keeping their respective nations poor and uneducated, deliberately, (e.g. Iran/America)to further their own ambition of wealth. God is irrelevant to Christianity.
