Intesting to think that Global Warming is a corporate interest scam. Let's just say for argument sake that Global Warming is not caused by excessive use of fossil fuels - how can you deny that pollution of the air and water are a direct result of such usage? The oil industry applauds comments like your - you have successfully caused people to question the validity of the argument. On a side note - the film is not simply about Global Warming, but about the general destruction of our species.

Escortpete: do we actually disagree? I cant see that we do. ALL the "real" environmental issues you mention I agree with profoundly. Perhaps better to say global warming is a possible aspect of "Environmental Destruction" and THAT surely is a corporate interest activity. God knows we could lengthen your list by a lot but in almost all of them we see corporate greed as the main driver. It's all about money. They own the media, they own Bush. They have convinced the world that businsses knows best

escortpete: think again about the environmental movement; you are wrong. Disinformation is released into the media by the very people who are getting rich by doing what they are doing. It is enough to trickle into the mainstream to get believed. You're a little young perhaps to remember but the tobacco companies did they same. My dad worked for one in the early 50s..they knew THEN that cigarettes killed people but kept doubt alive until the 80s thru disinformation and bent scientists. Like now

Global warming is a corporate interest scam. Real environmental issues. Monsanto- GMO Foods. Dirty Coal energy Plants. Planes. Haarp. Chem Trails - dumping aluminum oxide and other chemicals into the atmosphere, they say their combating Global warming this way. Aluminum and Fertilizer plants get rid of their waste by calling it fluoride and dumping into our drinking water. We went from over a 150 news outlets in 1986 to just 5 in 2008. Believe me when I say they are not serving the People.

Anyone who believes CO2 is bad for our planet needs to go to the second grade and learn what what plants need to grow. Our climate naturally goes up and down in temperature. All environmentalists have done is to create an environment that take jobs over seas. Look up HAARP the GOV heats up the atmosphere. look at NASA findings, all planets in our solar system are up in temperature. All these enviro people have done is made things worse for our planet and mankind. Co2 is not the problem.
