no there is no main menu. but when you put the mouse on the top of the screen of x-plane in game there will appear a menu... from there you can control the game... for example you can choose your aircraft or the airport...or you can choose the graphic options

Go to rendering options in X-plane and check set resolution at start

Only bad thing about it is that its a massive download. 50gb I think. But I guess you have to sacrifice for quality.

thats ridiculous it is only 4.9 megabytes to download the installer, you can't download the large scenery files, you have have to buy the dvds

im not 100% sure about this but i think you can make your own aircraft and i think theres more than 30 aircraft but make sure you duble check other then that have a nice day.
