huh. very unsatisfying video. i liked finding out that valencia was a hotel though and not just a strange name. i didnt like the subtitles and it seemed like it could have been a gorgeous video. but it was not. the song is absolutely amazing though.

the story of the SONG is that the town they're in is Valencia. it was never the girl.

As far as the sotry line for the video goes,the directors cut gives you the full version-basically he confides in the one guy and asks him for help so that he can escape town with the boss' daughter. The guy instead betrays him, leading the boss' daughter to be killed by the boss-turns out she was using collin's character and was only interested in stealing money from her father. In the end,both collin and the man who betrayed him die as well pretty sure thats it

Colin Maloy was born in Helena Montana and now lives in Portland OR. Just saw them the other night for the 5th time and he did not have an english accent.

I thought that the girl was named Valencia... Whatever. I love this band so much. HORAY FOR PORTLAND OREGON!
