They have to be lip singing, if they just recorded it on set they would get all the background noise. That's what they do for music videos too.

4:37 you can tell that they re both lip singing because while they are still saying "cruise" they both have their lips away from the microphone but I still love them two and this episode so it doesnt really matter !?!?!?!?!? =P
