Brilliant! I'd interested in the internal mechanics. How'd they manage the forward ejection? It's obviously different than the FN/Herstal concept because there's no "shelf" running along the side.

This would be an awsome wepon. It would be just as good for like cjs19kilo said military personal that really can't work with a fullsized AR. But also for airplanes, like airliners so that our law enforcement up there don't just have a pistol but don't make themselfs a bigger target by having a fullsized assult rifle. I hope this comes out soon.

Because its easier to cry and get public support on how guns are "dangerous" than it is to actually try and keep criminals from getting them.
Sad because making stuff illegal only keeps it out of the hands of normal law-abiding citizens. If a criminal plans on using a gun to hurt someone he doesn't care if its illegal to own.

I'm an Abrams tank commander, and I would LOVE to have this instead of the M-4s and M16s we currently get issued. It would allow all crew members of the tank to stow their weapon in their respective station, instead of in the sponson boxes. Since it's a bullpup, it wouldn't be much of a decrease in lethality from the M-4. Issue me this with a full-auto selector and give me a Sig to replace my M9 and I'll be happy as a pig in s**t. Good stuff, Magpul.

That's what I'm trying to tell my friend. This gun would be an ideal sidearm for tank crews and pilots. It's small, light, and easy to store. My Uncle is an Apache Longbow pilot and he was impressed when I showed this to him. He could keep it in the cockpit and not give it a second though because of it's size. Thanks for the good first hand opinion. Good luck and god bless out in the field.

One very significant advantage I noticed was the fact it uses a gas piston system and not direct-impingement, so it will be much more reliable than any M16 or M4. But, since it only has a 12" barrel, velocity will be affected, something M4 already has a problem. The fact it is a bullpup quickly caught my attention though. If Magpul continues to work on it, possibly chamber it for other calibers, it could turn out to be very promising.

This would make for a great PDW. Much better than an MP5 or any sub gun.

12.5 barrel is too short for 300meter shots
all civilian rifles need a 16in barrel and
26in overall lenght unless u SBR it
its little more difficult to get expert or even sharpshooter with the m4
the longer barrel and sight radius helps
i dont see how you would clear a jam
it looks like the foward ejecting keltec .308
rifle
with the crappy mags the army use to issue us
id rather have a TAVOR compact
or steyr aug
