every phrase has a unique edge to it. i would really like to meet him and know what his mind works like. there is no "ummm" or "errrr" or "you know..." in his guitaring. he plays every note eloquently with precise articulation. like he means it. there wouldnt have been an eric johnson were it not for jeff. always rated higher in my book than the guys who became bigger than him. hendrix, clapton or page
