In September 2005, following confirmation that Red Lake Indian Reservation school shooter, Jeff Weise, was under the influence of the antidepressant Prozac, the National Foundation of Women Legislators, together with American Indian tribal leaders, called for a Congressional investigation into the correlation between psychiatric drug use and school massacres. Congress has yet to investigate the role of psychiatric drugs relating to school shootings despite international drug regulators warning these drugs can cause mania, psychosis, hallucinations, suicide and homicidal ideation. At least eight of the recent school shooters were under the influence of such drugs, and according to media reports, investigators working on the Virginia Tech school shootings, Cho Seung-Hui may also have been taking drugs for "depression."

Here's an idea, we should enforce camera-controlled turret systems in the colleges/schools so security can use them to tranquilize the terrorists and bring them to custody.

we have way too many drugs, legal or not, in the US. "oh, look you're depressed, take THIS it will do you good..." i don't personally believe in psychiatric drugs. I think it's bullshit. and i think they mess you up even more. what these kids needed were SOMEONE to talk to. and not a bullshit psychiatrist either. sorry, ranting.

bullshit those things do not happen in other countries. Only in wild wild west ameriKKKa with their crips, bloods, meth, legal weapons and government who promotes violence and war. i'm taking paxil for more than three years now and never killed somebody. In fact it helped me a lot. as an outsider this is so typically America. just like in the movies all obsessed by going to war and by guns. what a strange country. Closed minded asshole. There have been shootings and shit in other countries as well. UK mainly. They have one of the HIGHEST crime rates. So next time you want to say something about America and how it's 'so typical' look at other countries.
