Monty Python's Spamalot - Opening Night

Back

Sorry for the bad quality! July 2nd - 1,000 views. This is the video Broadway.com did for the opening night of Spamalot. The sound gets off-sync about one-minute and a half into the video. Sorry about that! I'll see if I can fix it! The interviews include: Michael McGrath (Patsy), Steve Rosen (Sir Bedevere), David Hyde Pierce (Sir Robin), Hank Azaria (Sir Lancelot), Eric Idle (Book & Music), John Du Prez (Music & Lyrics), Christian Borle (Prince Herbert), Mike Nichols (Director), and Sara Ramirez (Lady of the Lake).

These interviews are from 2005; DHP moved on years ago. If you saw it recently, that was Clay Aiken.

but...but....but... "Always Look on the Bright Side of Life" is in Life of Brian....not Holy Grail....

Yeah. Eric Idle decided that it would be fitting to add the song :)

There were many Monty Python references that weren't from Holy Grail, for instance the Fisch Schlapping dance. But adding all those bits gave the show just that much more Python flavor =)
