My comment was: does the piano have black keys or white keys? Keith Jarrett is not a black man. Keith Jarret is not a white man. Keith Jarrett is a musician, who also happens to be a genius. I still believe that.

In Physical Anthropology, cranoifacial analysis (cephalic index measurments etc.) can determine what race/sex etc. a person is by examining a skull. That is a type of forensic Anthropology useful in several fields including forensic pathology.

This subject started with a comment "martinevans123" made a year ago that Keith Jarrett is neither a "black' man nor a 'White' man. However I posted a comment as using the name "mfh2kdw210" Stating that race is a reality. But I guess the statemant was anticipated. While it is true that "White" and "Black" are social constucted terms, genral public acknowledges this as a classification. Anthropologically speaking Mr Jarret is craniofacially of Caucasoid Ancestry known by laymens terms as "White".

It is simply that he is of Caucsaoid Ancestry pure and simple. Any further examination of the man may be left for another to ponder over. Incidentally Anthropology in general is the study of man. Cultural Anthropology is the specialized study of his cultural bearings. Physical Anthropology is the specialized study of his features etc. Molecular Anthropology is the specialized study of his genetic makeup. It is all relevant to understanding mankind. His differences, his similarities etc.
