The "epitome" of rock guitar for me: to sit down with a few minutes on my hands and allow Leslie West to take me on a "Les Paul Jr tone joy ride".
Turn that shit UP!

The MOST underrated power trio of all-time. West, Pappalardi, Laing. PLAY AT HIGH VOLUME.

Eddie Van Halen openly admits he was trying to sound like Leslie West when he got his "brown sound" back in the day when he used plexi Marshalls.
The first time I heard Mountain I nearly shat myself from the cacophony of beautiful sound produced by Leslie West's guitar.
