I think you're all missing the point of the video, he's trying to get the point across that the golf swing is actually fairly simple and to forget about all the crap you read about and hear from pros. If you're thinking to much about making the perfect swing, more often than not, you're going to screw up, which he did on purpose

or if you have a high degree wedge you can open the face up so that the degree of loft is almost 90 degrees. then when the ball is hit wont go forward but up
