It comes down to the following -- supporters of this tax are arguing that raising the taxes of the middle classes* and lowering their "well-being" from 5-15 years or more, while lowering the taxes of the wealthy and raising their "well-being" every year from year one, will help the economy and is a "good thing."
I would have to say I strongly disagree with that-- the midclasses don't want to be serfs to a plutocracy.
Shades of "Metropolis"(Lang) and "Soylent Green"...

*midclasses in this case being those making from about $25k to $200K... and again, these points are directly from the research of supporters of the tax, and are not points of debate-- the data is clear and from fairtaxorg/BHI, which SUPPORTs this crazy tax:

The Huckster, He raised taxes in his RED state, he let the illegals get free college tuition, he took hundreds of thousands of dollars in gifts while in office, his son brutally murdered a poor dog, he pardoned THOUSANDS of murders/criminals, he let out Wayne Dumond who then subsequently went on to murder more people, he doesn't know ANYTHING about the economy or foreign policy, makes idiotic statements (like eating squirrels in college in a popcorn popper).

Survery USA Polls continue to show the Huckabee is the strongest VP choice for McCain. Huckabee actually polled better than Mitt Romney in his home state of Massachusetts!

I love how people are so scared of electing a serious Christian into office as if they were gonnna all the sudden rewrite the Constitution into the New Testament. Also, sidenote, even if they were gonna...think about it...the Bible is 85% full of instructions on how to live the most rewarding and fullfilling life. Ever. its not just do this, dont do this. GOd wants us to be happy, and he let us know exactly how we can do that. problem is no one wants to give up thier pride and actually obey
