Deer vs Raccoon

Back

A raccoon came into the yard in the daytime, and we threw some organic corn chips on the lawn for him. A few minutes later the deer showed up, and the raccoon ran up a tree - for a few moments. Just as the raccoon was brave enough to head for the chips, the deer noticed the chips. The deer are used to grazing on the clover flowers and leaves in our lawn, and liked the uncommon chip bonanza. After the raccoon ate his chips, the deer decided they didn't want him anymore on what they consider the "deer's lawn." There is nothing wrong with hunting. I myself hunt and prefer to have meat that doesn't have hormones or anything else in it. Murderers? Lol. How do you think you get your hamburger??? Hunters help wildlife conservation more than the average Joe. The money from what we buy to use for hunting goes twards conservation. So far most of these comments against hunting is hipocritical, uneducated and prejudice.

Hunting helps regulate the deer population. Overpopulation leads to the spread of disease and starvation. The typical hunter isn't just some guy who wants to make animals suffer. They are people who enjoy the wilderness. Hunters are more concerned for the safety of deer populations than people who are against hunting. Atleast hunters are trying to conserve land for the deer to live on. Read up on Jeffrey Dahmer, he did more than kill and eat his victims.

I'd also like to add that we're not all just a bunch of hicks who get deer licenses and go out to the woods just to get drunk and cause trouble. That's nothing but a stereotype. Most hunters are actually good, responsible people who try to repect the land and the animals that inhabit it.

Only animals like tigers and wolves are aloud to hunt not animals. The Native Americans were infact animals, that's why they built teepees instead of houses. that's why the colonist took over all of america because animals can't own land.

Where the hell did you get a notion like this??!!! The native americans were (and are) just as human as anyone else! And there is no law, written or unwritten, that says I, or anyone else, can't hunt.

Bigots such as yourself deserve to be kicked off this planet. Pluto would be a nice home for you.

No, it doesn't describe us at all. Were the native Americans psychopathic murderers because they hunted? I don't think so. Hunters are just people like anyone else, for us hunting is a hobby and way of life. A true sportsmen will always appreciate just being outdoors and interacting with nature, even if they don't see a single deer the entire time. Hunting is a lot more than just shooting an animal. It's about tradition, it's about people, and it's about connecting with our ancestral ways.
