BackIn 1990, with Michigan State leading No. 1 ranked Notre Dame 19-14 late in the 4th quarter, Rick Mirer hit Adrian Jarrell on a pass that deflected off the chest of Spartans' defensive back Todd Murray near the goal line. The Irish went on to score and win 20-19.
