Harry Chapin sings CIRCLE Live
BackEMBEDABLE!! http://www.youtube.com/group/harrychapinfans "All my life's a circle; Sunrise and sundown; Moon rolls thru the nighttime; Till the daybreak comes around. All my life's a circle; But I can't tell you why; Season's spinning round again; The years keep rollin' by. It seems like I've been here before; I can't remember when; But I have this funny feeling; That we'll all be together again. No straight lines make up my life; And all my roads have bends; There's no clear-cut beginnings; And so far no dead-ends. Chorus: I found you a thousand times; I guess you done the same; But then we lose each other; It's like a children's game; As I find you here again; A thought runs through my mind; Our love is like a circle; Let's go 'round one more time." Chorus Harry Chapin sings CIRCLE. Hamilton Ontario in 1981. His last year. I'm workin on improvin the quality....can't do much about the budgies, tho....

Listening to this brought me to tears with happy memories. I saw Harry in concert three times!! The third time was with my boyfriend/now husband, and our love of Harry was a common bond; so much so that we planned to name our baby after him IF we had a boy. Our beautiful DAUGHTER is now 17 and so that didn't work out. Harry, you are so very alive in our memories; I'll treasure your music forever.

Thanks for the info easterlake. I loved Harry Chapin and all he stood for and the World Hunger Project he had going on back in the 80's. My hubby and I seen him in concert twice back then, just him. He explained that his band wasn't there cause all of the proceeds from those two concerts, were going strictly to his World Hunger project. I miss him and his music so very much. Thank God for cd's.
Thanks again, Take Care!!
RIP Harry, you are missed.

Harry and Tom were both very giving. Harry grabbed the spotlight more often that Tom, but who can forget Make a Wish.
Thank you Tom
Harry gave his all to fighting world hunger, even to the point that he short changed himself. It is hard to believe he has been gone 27 years.

This was the song that ended all of his concerts. I remember attending a free concert at Nassau Community College on Long Island in 1977. I was near the stage. I was a very shy person at the time. Anyway, there was one song where Harry encouraged the audience to sing along. He would point to the audience when he wanted us to sing. I gathered up my courage & sang with the audience. At that moment, he pointed & looked directly at me, as if he understood what I was doing was very difficult.

You're right BattlingNewt. I saw him in 1978 at LaFayette, IN (Purdue U.) when I was a student at St. Joe's (north of Purdue). I actually ran into him as I was leaning on a gym door and he was wanting out. Go figure.
