All these covers were officially sanctioned i'll have you know!, by George Martin if i'm not mistaken. The songs all sound exactly like the originals, apparently Oasis refused to take part unless they could use the original mixing desk, it was in Lenny Kravitz house and they had to rip it out for the album, I do not think he even appears on it! Poor guy!

There are things one just does not do. One of those things would be covering a Beatles song. First, it is pointless, because it will never be as good as the original and will just stick out like a sore thumb, testament of the arrogance of the covering band, in this case, the fray. Second, it is an insult to the Beatles themselves, be they dead or living; and an insult to all those who enjoy listening to them. Concluding: the fray are arrogant, insulting, and downright suck.

i agree completely. I mean the song wasn't terrible, but still this is just not something that should be messed with unless its like extremely extremely good.

that was pretty cool. beatles covers are usually crap, but once in a blue moon they're great. like this one.
