This is my rehearsal of the Introduction of Henkyoku/ Haru no Umi. This is the Miyata Kohachiro arrangement for two kotos and 1 shakahachi - I play the 2nd koto part. Miyata Kohachiro arranged 編曲・春の海 to provide a bigger sound for large venues while preserving the beauty of the original piece. The original piece was composed by Michio Miyagi as a duet for one koto and one shakahachi. The song is also known as " The sea in the spring " , it's English translation. This music is of the Ikuta school (Ikuta-ryo).
