Hmm no most of Dylans songs were more like stories, half of em didn't even rhyme, not saying all poems have to rhyme but Dylans songs weren't poetic at all, more like narratives. Also Dylans voice sounds like someone is shoving mothballs up his ass underwater.

you shouldn't ever talk about poetry ever again. bob dylan is a sensational poet. go look up the definition asshole. wow it doesn't rhyme it must not be a poem, are you serious? it's called a ballad, that's a form of a poem that's what you're talking about. there is such a thing as a narrative poem. imagine that. most poems that rhyme suck anyways because they just become cliched with love dove, etc. so yea know what you're talking about before you bash a legend like bob dylan.

Hey now girl if you actually would have read what I said by looking through the tears in your eyes you would have seen that I said poetry doesn't have to rhyme, but it does have to have rhythm, anyone who's taken an english class could tell you that. Most of Dylans NARRATIVE songs don't have any rhythm or poetic meaning, it's just rambling. And I happen to think his voice sounds like shit, my opinion. Take the stick out of your ass. And why are we debating about Dylan on a Wilco video?

no offense, but your concept, and definition of poetry are lacking. Dylan is a poet, of course he is one of the best in american history, but that's not the point; the point is true lyrics are poetry.

I think Dylan rambled on to much in his song writing, he needed to be edited, Wilco is an amazing band, plus I've heard Dylan stole most of his lyrics.
