The potential for biotechnology, nanotechnology, and advanced computer intelligence to be misused or mishandled is astronomical. Consider the recklessness we exhibited with respect to atomic energy and chemical synthesis, both of which pale in comparison to the power represented by these rising technologies. I fear that this may be our final century.

I worry the wrong type of government could get hold of this technology. Can you imagine a Nuclear Nano Bomb? Nano particles have more energy in lesser space than normal size particles. There could be a bomb twice as small of a regular nuclear bomb yet much more powerful.
