hi man,I just saw your reviews and I think you did a good job,you seem to know a lot about horror movies.But I have to disagree on the remake (2003?) I think it was a good movie,ya it had no originality and stuff but it has the best scenes by long shot,I happened to watch this movie on a theater and it scared the crap out of me. about the others I agree tho :)

Thank you for watching and I tried to give the 2003 remake a chance. As a matter of fact I gave it two chances alone at the theatre. Then I borrowed a DVD copy and watched that 2 times to see if I would feel different about it and nothing changed. It's a better film than Part 4 and some other bad horror movies but I still think it was pointless and unecessary to do a remake. Thanks for the feedback and voicing your opinion like an adult. Much appreciated.

the whole fucking reason you watch horror movies? to get scared or for the gore fanatics well the gore... the whole reason the new ones added a story think about what happens when you humanize him you're not BRINGING HIM DOWN A PEG you're simply making it more realistic so it's a whole different atmosphere one that can bring you into all of it

I understand your arguement but isn't the point of watching movies is so we can escape reality? All of these horror icons HAD a mystique about them. Leatherface's was "why is he a cannibal and what does he look like under that mask?" Now we know everything about him and there is no mystique to him anymore. He's no longer a boogeyman, he's just a man. It ruined the whole horror effect for me. I wait in fear to see how bad Friday the 13th turns out. God help us.

I didn't like the mask in either film. At the end of the 2003 movie, he looked like the fucking Joker or something, lol.
