Billy Squire is not taken lightly by any less a figure than the legendary Les Paul. In 1988, Paul was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Paul was asked if he would perform - he was 73 - and Paul said he would if two young guitarists he respected would play alongside him. They asked who Les wanted and he answered, "Jeff Beck and Billy Squire." Billy and Jeff were happy to oblige. BTW:IND = great song, lotz of good memories!

Billy Squire was definetly a continuation of Led Zeppelin, which wasn't a bad thing

Back in the 80s Billy Squier was all over MTV and the radio stations in NYC. He has so many great songs like: My kinda lover, In the dark, The Stroke, Too Dased gone all on the Dont say no record. Then Everybody wants you, Learn how to live and the list goes on and on and on! If more bands looked inside of themselves for the real rock and put out material like this we would have great music out now. Instead we have crap!

Hopefully Nickelback's collaboration with 80's veteran producer Mutt Lange (AC/DC, Def Leppard), will represent a movement back to these roots

K when was the book written? Recenlty in the past 3 years? If it was written way back in the 80s then it would not apply today. Because today he is not underrated at all. He's played on even current stations. And if he was that underrated would he have 118K views on his videos , on all of his videos or more?
