Is nuclear fusion the energy source of the future? This 9 minute movie shows a physics lesson in 2100 about how nuclear fusion became the dominant energy source it is then. Explains the basics of fusion physics, as well as the technology needed to harnes it on earth. The film was made by Max Planck Institute of Plasma Physics (IPP) on behalf of EFDA (European Fusion Development Agreement) with funding from the European Union (script and direction: Herbert Hackl; production: Naumann Film, Munich).
