This is in no way a horror film as I originally thought. It's probably the most tripped out piece of work I've ever seen in my life. It's more like a drama. A sick twisted tripped out drama.

I just saw the play version of this last night. It was great! I dont know about the movie, but the play was interesting because it was pretty funny in the beginning then it got really intense and scary and awesome.

A defining moment is when the guy looks for the very first bug he "hears" at her place. Her act of starting to look for the bug starts her journey along with his. She is convinced in seeing the bug when at first she doesn't. BUT.........didn't some sense of reality come to her when she said (just before they light themselves on fire)......."Wait a minute".....???? Did I imagine that part?.......heh (get it?)

An unusual movie, very well done and effective. Ashley Judd was gave a great performance as the poor waitress and the guy who played the drifter was just as good.

This is actually based off a play. I just read it in my class today and am doing a scene from it. Gotta say, it's one fucked up play.

No i hated it too but the greatest attribute of this flick is the way it masterly draws a blurred line between the truth we perceive as viewers and the protagonists alleged reality through a disturbing conclusion,it left me completely unsettled, maybe that's the idea, idk

I think this was a really good movie, it leaves you with so much questions! at the end, they're like making up the whole theory, and you just won't get to see if it's true or not... the ending is great, though...
