omg my god mother and father and thier 2 daguters who are 16 /15 the y live thier the got evacuated and they wher in my house 4 like 2 weeks

I'm a 3 1/2 yr resident of Lake Arrowhead and to wake up by a neighbor banging on your door telling u their is a mandatory evacuation was by far the scariest feeling especially when you are 8 1/2 mo. pregnant w/children in the house... We evacuated safely only to give birth that night due to stress, but thanks to God healthy baby and a home to return to. Now just traumatized by fires and saddened by those who did lose their beautiful homes across the Golf Course lake. God-Bless.

I live in Lake Arrowhead, a half mile from the fires. There was NO way any aircraft could have flown and dropped water or fire retardent, the winds were gusting to 90 MPH. All those who criticize are obviously not residents of Lake Arrowhead. All of us who were up here know that the firefighters did the best job they could possibly do under the brutal wind conditions.

i honestly hate the fucking news im a firefighter in lake arrowhead and they dont know shit there is no such thing as grass valley city its just a road the just go off what they see.... i watched 30 of my friends houses go up and i couldnt do a single thing so all i have to say is get the right info before u tell the world lies

What really sucks about all this is for the first couple of days they werent sending ANY planes to drop water or fire retardant chemicals. Why's that? Oh yeah because they sent them all to Malibu to save the rich first.

We were just up there this weekend doing a short travel video. The winds were horrible on Sunday as you can see from some of the video shots. The thought of fire crossed our minds. I never thought this would happen the next day....

thay think more than 400 houses in lake arrowhead and green valley are burned down thay onley wont to tell you that 134 are burnt.
