D Word Collaborative Project Sample
BackI am asked all the time about how I got started in video production. I have placed the answer here in You Tube. My first project was a shot film made with a Super 8 film camera in 1979. In June 2000, I participated in a video project titled, "D Word Collaborative." At the time, I was working with analog tape and piecing together work as best as I could without the benefit of computers to edit with. It was a slow, tedious and frustrating process and yet, I suffered through for the sake of artistic creation with little reward. I did it because I love creating videos. I'm much better off now and I have since received awards and accolades and money! This clip is interesting to me because it shows what it used to take for me to edit videos. It's a peek into my past.
