You can either ask around or ask the pros, but really matters is what you like. What you think you can use best. Given that some of the best tone shaping equip is pricy, you might find some vintage gold or an unheard phenom for $30 at a pawn shop and use it like no one else has. In short, if it's not self expression, it's not an art.

Oh and my advice would be to start with an EQ, and lite Distortion or fuzz to really make a basis for your tone. Don't forget to be picky, you might get stuck with something as bad as Dragonforce. lol.

Amen bro!A buddy of mine bought this pedal.After getting it home and playing on it.He said this thing don't sound nothing like a whammy bar.I told him stop being a pussy and learn how to use it.

HERMAN REEEE uses ibanez s series based, this ones not like it dragon force is somewhat overrated, but they dont speed up their solos. with all these covers on youtube, its def possible to play that fast.

If you watch one of their vid's they do sue this pedal. I saw them live a few days ago, they do play as fast as on their albums.

They have Amazing stange presence, they keep you into it the whole way through. They have come along way since a few years ago. All the uploaded live video's do No justice !
