Ardemo 168: World first Arduino Demo with OLED Display

Back

Here is a very simple starfield with Arduino ATMega168 running at 16 Mhz using a OLED display from 4D Systems. Could be much more improved but it's pure fast coding on embedded hardware just for fun as usual in demoscene! Code size is about 3.8 Kb and music was made by Wizard from Collapse (spain) oh... music not running on device, just for the video hehe I hope you like it. http://www.BricoGeek.com

Yeah, I'd love to see a lot more details on this - like where you got the LCD from and what (if any) glue circuitry you needed to connect it to the ATMega168 chip?? Sweet!

That is very awesome! :D Good job.

The code is quite simple. This OLED from 4D Systems is managed with simple serial commands. I have just used putc() function to send via Arduino serial.

What is the code to make the OLED screen work for the arduino?
