sounds like a lot of trouble just to download a youtube video.
i just use real player, and its real player downloader.
downloads from almost all sites. full movies also.
one click and i've downloaded the video, i just have to convert the .flv to mp4 with isquint, just drag and drop on isquint, click on convert and just wait till it's done converting it.
both real player and isquint are free to download
it works on my mac, i don't know if it'll work for windows.
