I had a police officer pull me over on the highway because my seat belt was 3 inches lower than it should have been. Prick.
I've also had police park illegally on the street so they can get their coffee from Tim Hortons.
Protect people? Sure, some of them do. But pulling a car over on the HIGHWAY isnt exactly safe. Just like people who arent police, their are good ones and bad ones.

well not all police officers are bad, but i can get where you're coming from
my dad is a police officer, and hes always very lenient when he stops someone
