I meet Harry Connick Jr when I was working on his New House in New Canaan CT, I went up and shook his hand and then the contractor came up to me a told me to leave, as I walked away I saw Harry looking my way like, no you didn't have to fire him, it was worth being let go, I'm a musician myself and admire his playing so screw construction, I shook the guys hand.

Big difference with the singers mentioned is: Connick composes and arranges (!) his own songs. So: no comparison!

The man rocks!!!!! saw his show in Ames IA and by far the best I have seen. He does not steal the spot light love to share the whole night with the rest of the band. He was out of the spot light most the night letting his band so great solos. what can is say to make this man and band any better
