thats fooking weird. magnetic fields are spiky?

its just the liquids capacity to move across the field. the stronger the bigger it gets. the further it moves away from the magnet the less effect the magnet has on the liquid so less material is able to sustain it self up until the point it reaches a point.

Ferrofluids are colloidal mixtures composed of nanoscale ferromagnetic, or ferrimagnetic, particles suspended in a carrier fluid, usually an organic solvent or water. The ferromagnetic nano-particles are coated with a surfactant to prevent their agglomeration
or, magnetic water ^^

and that's how you kill the monster, just clap your hands! hahah
how does mechanic waves interfere on eletromagnetic waves?

holy shit thats awesome!

it's a ferrofluid that NASA invented. It's like when you get metal shavings near a magnet, except it's in liquid form.
