They want blood for realism. Or they could just be bloodthirsty psychos. There are T rated games that have blood in them, not all games that have blood are M. The Oddworld series has blood in it and the entire series is T. As long as there isn't massive amounts of blood and gore, it should be fine. Also, graphic violence makes a difference, too. A big one. This game could get away with a little blood, I think.
