super garr saving the world by fear mongering look in to the eyes of the dingle garr ride that rainbow unicorn to the land of small weak ideas. "300" wow he just like one of them spartan. He tried the same thing with the video game industry and what officially made him god of global anything.

I hope Al Gore dies of hypothermia.

Bamboo - You raise an important point. Individuals can reduce their carbon footprint through energy conservation (insulation, reset thermostats, energy-saver devices, fluorescent bulbs, etc), fuel efficient vehicles, walking rather than driving when practical, or even solar panel installation in some cases. However, adequate CO2 mitigation also requires society-wide decisions involving carbon control measures and investments in alternative energy. Some of this has started, but it is still slow.

Whenever someone makes a claim I find contradicted by data, I find it useful to refer readers to the data rather than asking them to referee a YouTube argument. Anyone wondering whether the Earth is warming or cooling should visit climate trend sites - HadCRUT3, NCDC, GISS, UAH, RSS. I judge them to show both recent warming and long term warming (driven primarily by CO2), but readers should draw their own conclusions. HadCRUT details are at cru. uea. ac. uk/cru/data/temperature/hadcrut3gl. txt.

youre right markbotv3, the earth is cooling. Alaskan glaciers are growing for the first time since the Little Ice Age. The earth goes through warming and cooling cycles. A natural warming cycle just ended and now a natural cooling cycle is beginning. So in a few years we're going to be hearing all the alarmism from people like grastog about a coming ice age where were all going to freeze to death unless we change the way we live--as if humans could control climate.

again, i have to tell you slow mind--even the New York Times published an article exposing the exaggerations in Al Gore's movie. Al Gore himself said he exaggerated. Get with it--An Inconvenient Truth was purely propaganda
