This is my story about this song: the other night I saw an advertisement on TV of a CD collection of the 60's and saw this group sang this song originally!! The first time I heard it ( because my older brother had the recording)was in the mid 80's a disco remake I LIKED IT... (I was very young, but I liked it, and still do.

I often listen to this song while driving.Des, I want you to know there are still a number of fans appreciate you guys. I wish you would release a new album as Jigsaw once again.(Evev though we Japanese fans are relatively lucky as we can get your albums which you cover some Japanese pops.)Everyone, Go check SAYONARA by Des Dyer on You Tube, you will find out Des Dyer is still one of the best singers in the world.

yep...this song as stood the test of time,played all over our building site during and after its release and was a firm favourite with radio 1 at the time ...Des sang this tone perfect as usual.

I guess DesDyer is an origional Band Member? Tell me about the hot young groupies back then? Good song, became familiar with it due to the trip to the 70's CD's on the pay per view advertisements on the TV. I'm 37 so I barely remember this stuff playing on my dad's 8 track or the radio. It's cool.

He's right, it's "Why did it have to stop." Good song, can you imagine being in your 20's in this erra? Knocking it out with the hottest chicks on the block, and their sisters at the same time. Then later their young mothers and the neighbor, all in the same night, without even worring about aids?

I am very sure and always have been sure since this song came out that they are saying " Why did it have to stop" NOT "But did it have to stop" like the titles say on the screen, I am not often wrong

Hi greatestmc - To be accurate BONE THUGS N HARMONY sampled a section of our original recording and then rapped over it. This is hardly a remake. But I'm glad they did what they did 'cos it's given JIGSAW a bit more street credibilty, and hopefully a few more people will want to hear the original! Cheers....Des Dyer
