Conventional wisdom has held for quite some time that, with the growth of cable, satellite, and internet platforms, over-the-air broadcasting could soon be embalmed and consigned to a chilly grave. Not so fast: Prescient and nimble players such as the gentleman interviewed have managed to identify viewers' thirst for content and quality, and will enable this industry to survive and prosper. Fritz provides a wise and savvy history lesson, and a fascinating glimpse into the future of broadcasting.

knows what he is talking about and seems to know allot about the industry. good choice by c-span i would love to hear him speak on other topics in the future. he seems real and intelligent enough to earn some major respect and i would trust him to have some great opinions that i could follow and finally agree with. lucky are those who get to hear him on a daily basis. i bet his kids are genius!

It all looks too suspicious... I rather not invite this guest on C-Span. He certainly reflects what his company wants. His objectivity has been corrupted. And his character and the tone of language are even more suspicious.

Let's just stop using TV and only use youtube. The FCC can't touch the internet.

May 18, 2008 To our elected officials, communicate this: "Bob Feuer heard US Congressman John Olver say Bush will bomb Iran, declare Marshall Law and suspend the 2008 elections. Bob Feuer is a Democratic challenger to John Olver for the 1st Congressional District in Massachusetts" watch?v=clMloSZizhk
