microsoft doesn't fix any broken xbox for u. microsoft sends u another used one lying around that is not yr original one. microsoft replaces it for free 1 time. the new "used" one will break down not too long after u get it cuz its used. the new "used" one doesn't come with any warranty. 3 yr warranty is there to make it sound nice.

"microsoft is facing a class action lawsuit for the xbox 360's chronic breakdown problems. Although the company has already extended warranties to account for the RROD -- a failure where regular overheating loosens chip connections and usually ruins the system -- not only manufacturing a known defective product but of deliberately hiding the failure rate" quote from the ongoing class action lawsuit. reported on 10/16/08, 2:50pm, edt
