Filmation(the producers of this cartoon) always put meaning in their cartoons, plus they were American based, now the cartoons come to us from overseas, its no wonder they dont have any values for kids today

When Ronald Reagan deregulated TV, which had previously mandated a certain amount of educational kids' programs, quality writing went out the f****** window! I was lucky to grow up with Fat Albert. This show had substance. What do kids have today? Bullshit like Pokemon and Yukio (or whatever the hell its called) which teaches nothing but empty consumerism. I feel sorry for kids today.

Anyone ever find it funny how Fat Alberts hand encompasses the whole screen when he says I'm gonna sing a song for you? lol

"...and if you're not careful you may learn something before it's done". I love it. I miss this show. A cartoon with meaning that's still funny and entertaining with original characters. Let's see a show like that nowdays. For those that don't know this is based off some stand up material of Bill Cosby, which itself was based on himself and his friends growing up. hey hey hey

I meant to say that Rudy was always the coolest character. Couldn't really trust him, he was always getting in trouble if I remember correctly, but he was cool.
