okay well if you add a weight reduction, tweak the aerodynamics and tune the suspension on the ZR1 then i am sure that the Zr1 would eat the viper alive. i am a viper fan but come on think a little bit.

The ZR-1 is lighter than the ACR. It also produces more hp. Isn't the suspension on the ZR-1 adjustable as well?

Ummm, but it doesn't come that way. Add a supercharger to the viper and see what happens. Seriously, you have to be kidding.

really? whats stopping me from upgrading the supercharger on the Zr-1 and in that case a new cam and a boared out block would up the horsepower too. its a never ending battle...

Exactly, that is why your mention of modding the ZR-1 to keep up with the viper is silly. You have to compare stock vs. stock or just realize you are just comparing apples to oranges.

...and of course, if you want to get into a modding battle, the viper takes a lot more mods than the ZR-1. The ZR-1 engine is already near it's max reliable output and chevy themselves have warned against doing much to the car. There are vipers running around with nearly 2000hp. You just aren't doing that in a ZR-1. You would be better off starting with the Z06 if you want that kind of power. Well, really you would be better off starting with a viper lol

i didnt bring up modding Firestorm4056 did. also you cant say that there are more mods for the viper than there are for the zr-1 because of the fact that the ZR-1 hasnt even come out into production yet. i mean i understand that the viper is alot easier to mod seen by hennessy but there is also lingenfelter to watchout for.
