yeah thats true. In most cases just surrendering to japanese troops was practically a death sentence cuz it was "dishonorable" and you were treated less than human for doing so.

well the americans did kill some POW's but the japs were much more worse they had a no prisoner policy they executed most of there prisoners and not just shooting them in the head ether.

Your grammar is pretty bad. I hope english isn't your first language, "Just watch the ending of Letters....or Platoon?" Do you get all your history from movies? Do you know what the Japanese did to the Chinese and other Asian races they attacked? Not to mention the Bataan Death March.
