of all the versions realeased of this movie with the rediculous soundtracks added to it..including Giorgio Moroders revolting 1984 soundtrack..this original fully restored print with the original 1927 Gotfried Hubertz is the most magnificent of all and bring a classic film back to it's original glory and how it was intended to be shown! well done to the restored version...that's the best version!

Yes you are right. The full footage was found in Argentina recently.

that is not entirely true. almost the whole film was found, there are a few shots missing. still a great and important discovery

When I first saw it in 2003, my movie history teacher told us that 25% of the movie was missing, the missing parts were filled in with "inter-titles" explaning the missing images. But if some new parts of the movie have been discovered in Argentina, that's great news!! ^^
