actually the 300 workout isn't a gimmick and wasn't designed to profit the fitness industry, it was actually the workout that the actors for the movie 300 did to get in shape for their roll. hence why its called the 300 workout.

Yes, it was a routine devised for the actors in "300", supposedly based on exercises used by the Spartans...therein lies the "gimmick". It helps sell the film if you come up with a macho workout routine & it creates interest that fuels the exercise industry. That film will have helped shift millions of magazines alone. As a routine, it's too punishing to be anything more than a gimmick. It's just not sustainable. Exercise is about the long term, not fads & fashion.

No its not. The workout you see here isnt even the workout they used in the movie. They sent all the actors to mark twight out at gym jones for a few months. They did a variety of workouts of all kinds of things. Watch the DVD special features for the real workout they did. You cant do it at your house or local gym.

yeah but this isnt the "real" 300 workout that the actors did. If you wanna do the real one you gotta pay big money and go train with mark twight.

HAHAHAH bro dude man bro, brohime, broski, broseff DEAR BROSEFF, you're an idiot, 2hrs a day for 5+ days a week will never allow your muscles to rebuild i work out 3 days a week for 2 hrs each day with a 2 workout rotation. i am usually a tiny bit sore from my previous workout when i start the next one (which is also fine cause ill be working different muscle groups) sincerely your BROHIME

Um I think I would give out on the pushups. You just can't do that without rest in a realistic way unless you are under some ridiculous training.
