i just recently bought this ball and had it drilled up to not hook all that much cuz i put alot of hand in it as it is. this is the hardest hitting ball iv owned and seen. it absolutly destroys the pocket. i love this ball.

the up rising hooks a lot and has a huge backend

I own both the playmaker and the uprising and here's the deal: The uprising hooks harder, hooks sooner, and more angular. The problem is that the uprising is more friendly with mid-high oil volumes. Dry hooks like crazy and in turn may loose a bit of strength. Hits harder than playmaker. Playmaker has more length and arcing backend reaction. Rolls a bit smoother than uprising and has ever so slightly more pin deflection. Better than the uprising on dry lanes.

I am adding this bowling ball to replace my T-Road Soid, which was unpredictable

Seen the Pin Slasher in action in my Saturday league (thrown by the league secretary). This ball is damn impressive and I'm not big on Ebo products (not bad looks off the hand, but I have stuff that looks better*cough*Storm). Anyway, I was just wondering how this ball compares to the Rival.

the rival is a much more versital ball and as far as overall hook on a ths is probably about the same
